One of my favorite original movies with The Rock is The Rundown. Unfortunately, is was huge box-office failure grossing $81 million worldwide on a $85 million budget. The movie features The Rock who plays Beck a tight lipped bounty hunter who doesn’t like to use a gun and will accept any job without asking questions. When Becks employer sends him to the Amazon to locate his
employer’s cocky son Travis (Played by Sean William Scott) Beck sons discovers the population is being controlled by a treasure hunter (Christopher Walken). To get out of this crazy ordeal Beck and Travis must work together to locate a lost treasure and survive.
6. Walking Tall (2004)
Another favorite of mine in Walking Tall it didn’t receive many good reviews from critics but its an American action remake film of the 1973 film of the same name. The movie stars Dwayne Johnson as (Chris Vaughn) a decorated military officer. Johnny Knoxville who plays Ray Templeton Chris Vaughn loyal friend. When Chris Vaughn (The Rock) returns to his hometown to find work. He finds the lumber mil has closed and the towns big business now is a seedy casino that is operated by one of his old schoolmates. Chris and his friend Ray are set to end the shenanigans but finding no help from the police he must take matters into his own hands. The film made $57 million worldwide with a $46 million budget.
7. Be Cool (2005)
This Crime-Comedy film is based on 1999s novel of the same name and is a sequel to Elmore Leonard’s novel Get Shorty. The movie has a bunch of A-list actors such as John Travolta (Chili Palmer), Uma Thurman (Edie Athens), Vince Vaughn (Roger Lowenthal), Cedric the Entertainer (sin LaSalle) and Dwayne Johnson (Elliot wilhelm) and many many more. Having made the transition from a gangster to movie producer Chili Palmer is already for his next big move. He has set his sights on the music industry. Russian mobsters, rival producers and hit men are out to bring him down. This is movie highly comical and lots of fun to watch.
8. Doom (2005)
Doom is a a team of highly known space marines known as the Rapid Response Tactical Squad, led by non other Sarge (The Rock). Who is sent to a science facility on Mars after reports a security breach. Once there the team learns the alert came after a test subject, a mass murderer purposefully injected with a alien DNA, whom broke free and began killing people. Unfortunately, the movie didn’t do well in the box office and was a huge fail. The film only grossed $56 million world wide and had a $60 million budget.
9. Southland Tales (2006)
Is a movie about three-day heat wave just before a huge 4th of July celebration. Boxer Santaros is an action star who is stricken with amnesia. His life intertwines with Krysta who is adult film star developing her own reality television project and a policeman who holds the key to vast conspiracy.

The movie had mixed reviews from critics who praised the acting, script and chemistry among the main actors. The film grossed a $86 million worldwide which isn’t bad from a $35 million budget.

Now they will unite to bring home the man who made them a family and stop the Cipher from unleashing chaos.
