Before Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson was a successful movie star and king of hollywood, he made his living by wrestling in the WWE. Now his daughter is trying to follow in his footsteps and enter the WWE ring to mark her own legacy.
The Rock’s daughter, Simone Garcia Johnson is starting to train to become a professional wrestler and plans on doing what her father did.
She still has a long way to go and she is only 17, but that isn’t stopping her from putting in the work and training to get there. She has already started to take her first steps.
It’s been reported that Simone has started her training part time at the WWE Performance Center in Orlando, Florida. Recently she has stepped up her training regime to expedite her progress.
She stated “It’s a sport that is unlike anything else in the world,”
“There’s just a certain amount of passion that every move and match requires, and that’s so admirable. It’s definitely something I’ve thought about and want to pursue.”
If she succeeds, Simone’s success would mark the fourth generation of the Johnson family to participate in the WWE.
This goes back to her great-grandfather Peter Maivia, then her grandfather Rocky Johnson, then on to her Dad – Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson.
